Fabelab is a playful Scandinavian organic children's toy and interior brand founded by our designer Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod. Fabelab products are designed to encourage your little one's curiosity and imagination. Michaela has embraced Scandinavian design principles and drawn inspiration from her two young girls, who are always looking for functional and imaginative toys.
For Fabelab, sustainable design means using the right materials and ensuring a long product lifespan. The products we manufacture are made from sustainable textiles from our supplier in India. Corali is filled with corn fiber filling, which is a natural option and retains its shape when washed. In everyday life we always think about what we can change to become even more sustainable.

Fabelab was founded by Austrian architect Michaela Weisskirchner-Barfod to create beautifully playful yet functional and sustainable design. The designer, who lives in Copenhagen, is inspired by Scandinavian culture and the people who live there. With their sustainably produced products made from organic cotton , we want to create a pleasant, dreamy but also open environment for our little ones in which they can let their imagination run wild.
