Typography design by Arne Jacobsen

The typography of the Design Letters home accessories and tableware series comes from the Danish designer Arne Jacobsen, who originally designed the font in 1937 for the internal signage of Aarhus City Hall. The straightforward letters and characters are particularly striking and at the same time extremely timeless. Although designed in 1937, the typography is as appropriate today as it was over 70 years ago.
