As is usual in American fairy tales, the story of MeriMeri began at a kitchen table in Los Angeles. There, Meredith, given the nickname MeriMeri, created her first cards using pens and lots of glitter. The handmade cards immediately met with great interest and MeriMeri from then on employed a large network of mothers who worked from home following MeriMeri's instructions.
