GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard
We at Konges Sløjd are GOTS certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard is an international standard for the processing of organic textiles that takes into account both ecological and social criteria throughout the entire value chain.
The certification ensures that the materials are organic and have not been treated with pesticides, hazardous chemicals and fluorinated chemicals. In addition, GOTS sets criteria for working conditions, such as: B. Minimum wages, working environment, working hours and age.
FSC – Forest Stewardship Council
In 2022 we received our FSC certification. The Forest Stewardship Council is an international standard that ensures that the wood we use for our products - mainly toys - comes from responsibly managed forests.
The FSC seal is a guarantee that animals and plants are protected and that people working in the forest receive training, safety equipment and a fair wage.
